The Sri Yantra is the mother-yantra, as all other yantras are derived from it. This ancient symbol is over thousands of years old and considered to enable activation of the pineal gland and therefore the Third Eye.
The Sri Yantra symbol is the 'OM' sound made visible and represents the beginning of existence, the end and everything in between. OM is a sacred sound considered by many ancient texts to be the sound of the universe, encompassing all other sounds within it.
Dr. Hans Jenny (1904–1972), a pioneer in the field of cymatics, the study of the interrelation between energy and matter, conducted a series of experiments on the mantra ‘OM’, utilising a tonoscope, which is a device that transforms sounds into their visual representations on a screen. Dr Jenny found that when ‘OM’ was intoned into a tonoscope, the structure of the Sri Yantra symbol appeared. These experiments are a scientific confirmation of what the Rishis had always recognised.
It is composed out of 9 triangles, 4 of them point upwards and 5 downwards. Together they form 42 triangular fragments around a central triangle. The Vedas tell us that the Gods (Devas) and Goddesses are living in the yantras. The Sri Yantra is composed of a square with 4 projections on the exterior in T-shaped structures, circles, a row of lotus leaves and triangular forms in the lotus leaves. In the middle is a dot, the Bindu, as a central point, which symbolises UNITY, the origin and the manifestation of the Supreme Consciousness, the most concentrated form of energy. This dot expresses the union between the individual and God. The circle is an extension of the dot and creates individual consciousness out of cosmic consciousness.

The Sri Yantra Unity creamy white, natural candles are individually hand poured in Wollongong, NSW with 100% pure Soy Wax, surrounding a lead-free, all cotton wick. The candles have a burning time of approximately 60 hours and burn with a neat, clean flame, without soot or black stains. The soy wax is water soluble, spills can be wiped up with soap and water. Soy wax emits no fumes when lit, is biodegradable, non-toxic and harmless to our environment. The Sri Yantra Unity candles are scented with blends of pure essential and fine fragrance oils and allow for the maximum scent throw achievable from soy wax. Caring for your Sri Yantra Unity candle is as easy as keeping your wick trimmed, keeping your candle away from a draft and never leaving a burning candle unattended. It is advised to place the candle onto a heat proof coaster and not to keep the candle burning for more than 2 hours at a time, to prevent overheating.
